I'm Trayc
I’m the dance-in-the-supermarket, sing-off-key-in-the-car, random-handstand kind of photographer behind the camera at Blue Rooster Studio! I live in the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it town of Limehouse, Ontario with my amazing husband, our two awesome adult kids, and five very opinionated fur babies (yes, it’s as chaotic and cuddly as it sounds).
I’ve never quite figured out how to act my age—and honestly, I’m not trying. That might be why I click so well with kids and can help even the most camera-shy humans feel right at home during photo sessions. Whether you’re 5 or 95, I’ve got a knack for making you laugh, relax, and look fabulous.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me at the ballpark with a coffee in one hand and a camera in the other, cheering on my son and his team like the proud baseball mom I am. (Yes, I do take action shots between hot dog bites.)

I studied photography
ON FILM!!
I know, I know… admitting this totally reveals my age. But hey, you’re probably thinking, “Damn, she looks amazing for someone who actually knows how to develop film in a darkroom!” (And if you have no idea what a darkroom is—bless your digital heart.)
The short of it is. I've been passionate about art my whole life and after taking my first photography class in High School I fell in love.
I furthered my photography education at Humber Collage and 20+ years later I am still just as passionate as the day I began. I've since become an award winning Accredited portrait photographer with PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) specializing in Maternity, Newborn, Children, Family as well as Corporate portraits and Weddings. I am also newborn safety trained and Internationally recognized as a qualified Newborn photographer with the APNPI, an international photography association. I have received several accreditations, awards and have become on of their mentoring & educating photographers.

I met my husband when I was 11 years old.
Marvel movies are my obsession! I can watch them repeatedly.
Being the middle child explains a lot if you've had the pleasure of meeting me.
Sewing, knitting, crocheting, and painting are my passions. In fact, for years, my artwork was widely reproduced for retailers such as Wayfair, Home Depot, and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Animals hold a special place in my heart! We share our home with three rescue dogs, and I'm also a volunteer animal photographer for the wonderful rescue organization, Fetch and Releash.
I was a corporate moving coordinator before I became a full time photographer.
