It all started not long after speaking at conferences separately. No matter who was speaking, the other was always there....cheering from the sidelines, running behind the scenes, helping with setup, keeping things on track, and offering moral support (and snacks...always snacks).
So when we finally teamed up to teach a class together in 2026, it felt completely natural.
Did we love it? Absolutely. We left asking ourselves the same question we said a million times... Why didn't we do this sooner?

When we first entered the photography industry, things looked very different than they do today.
Photography was often a cut-throat business. Photographers guarded their locations, kept camera settings secret, refused to share supplier information, and viewed other photographers as competition rather than community. Finding genuine support, mentorship, and education wasn't easy.
Fast forward to today, and while there are more resources available than ever before, there's a new challenge: information overload. Social media is flooded with promises of overnight success, six-figure shortcuts, and "get rich quick" strategies that often leave photographers feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, and no closer to building a sustainable business. That's not what we're about!!

Together we're the perfect mix of fresh ideas, bold creativity, and just the right amount of spice.
Our story began 18 years ago at a wedding photography studio, where we instantly clicked. We trained under the same instructors at Humber College, learned to think the same way behind the camera, and before long, we could communicate with nothing more than a glance.
Since then, we've photographed countless weddings, built our own successful businesses, and spent years saying we should just team up.
And so, we created Lemon Ginger Creative Co. A place where photographers can learn, grow, and build thriving businesses together.
We're two photographers, educators, and besties with 1 shared passion. We believe business should be inspiring, supportive, and a whole lot of fun. Over the years we have been each others coach and cheering squad and now we want to share everything we've learn to build you up!
Oh... and if you hear us singing "T.N.T. – We're Dynamite!" (Tara & Trayc), don't be surprised. That's just us.
